1. Order Confirmation
All orders must be confirmed in writing, along with the approved quotation, design, dimensions, materials, colours, and specifications. This written confirmation serves as mutual agreement between both parties before any work begins, ensuring there is no ambiguity regarding the scope of the order. Once production has commenced, cancellations or major changes to the order may not be accepted, as materials may already be allocated and processes initiated based on the confirmed details. Customers are advised to carefully review all specifications prior to confirmation to avoid discrepancies at a later stage.
2. Manufacturing Specifications
Furniture will be manufactured strictly according to the approved design, dimensions, colour, finish, material, and specifications, ensuring the final product matches what was agreed upon. Any changes requested after approval may result in additional charges and revised delivery timelines, as modifications require re-planning of materials and production schedules. Customers are encouraged to finalize all details before approval for a smooth process.
3. Measurements
The customer is responsible for providing accurate site measurements unless measurement services are specifically included in the order. The manufacturer will not be responsible for fitting issues resulting from incorrect measurements supplied by the customer. It is advisable for customers to verify all measurements carefully before order confirmation to avoid any installation or fitting complications later.
4. Material Selection
Materials such as plywood, MDF, laminates, acrylic, glass, metal, upholstery, hardware, and other components will be as specified in the approved quotation. Minor variations in wood grain, laminate shade, texture, or finish may occur naturally, as these materials are often sourced in batches and can differ slightly from sample pieces shown during selection. Such variations are a normal characteristic of natural and manufactured materials and are not considered manufacturing defects. Customers are encouraged to view physical samples wherever possible before finalizing their material choices, as minor differences may still exist between samples and the final delivered product.
5. Care & Maintenance
Furniture should be maintained according to the care instructions provided at the time of delivery or installation.
Prolonged exposure to the following may damage finishes and materials:
- Water or moisture
- Direct sunlight
- Harsh chemicals
- Excessive heat
Additional guidelines:
- Regular cleaning using recommended methods and materials is advised to preserve quality and finish
- Damage caused by improper care, neglect, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines will not be covered under warranty
6. Payment Terms
An advance payment is required before production begins, with the remaining balance due as per the agreed schedule outlined in the quotation or invoice. Dispatch or installation may be withheld until all outstanding payments are cleared, and GST along with other applicable taxes will be included in the final invoice. Payments made towards an order are generally non-refundable once production has commenced, except as otherwise agreed in writing, and any delay in scheduled payments may correspondingly delay manufacturing or delivery.
Key points:
- Advance payment required before production begins
- Remaining balance due as per agreed schedule (quotation/invoice)
- Dispatch/installation withheld until outstanding payments are cleared
- GST and applicable taxes included in final invoice
- Payments non-refundable once production has commenced (unless agreed in writing)
- Delayed payments may delay manufacturing/delivery timeline
- Retain payment receipts and confirmations for reference
7. Manufacturing Period
The estimated manufacturing time will be communicated at the time of order confirmation, based on the scope and complexity of the order. Delays caused by material availability, transportation, labour issues, weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect the delivery schedule. In such cases, customers will be informed at the earliest and kept updated on the revised timeline. While every effort is made to adhere to the estimated manufacturing period, this timeline should be treated as indicative rather than a fixed guarantee.
8. Delivery & Transportation
Transportation charges will be charged as agreed in the quotation, based on the delivery location, order size, and mode of transport used. Delivery dates are estimated unless specifically guaranteed in writing, and may vary depending on production schedules, route conditions, and other logistical factors. The customer must ensure that the delivery location has suitable access for unloading and installation, including adequate space, lift or staircase access where required, and any necessary permissions or approvals arranged in advance. Any delays, re-attempted deliveries, or additional charges arising from inaccessible or unprepared delivery locations will be the customer's responsibility. It is recommended that customers coordinate with our team regarding the expected delivery window to ensure someone is available to receive and inspect the furniture upon arrival.
9. Acceptance of Terms
Approval of the quotation, payment of advance, or commencement of production shall be considered acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in their entirety, and no separate written confirmation shall be required for such acceptance to take effect.
Key points regarding acceptance:
- For custom requirements, any terms specifically mentioned in the approved quotation will prevail over these general Terms & Conditions to the extent of any conflict or inconsistency between the two.
- Customers are advised to read these Terms & Conditions carefully before approving the quotation or making any payment, as proceeding with the order confirms their understanding and acceptance of all applicable terms.
- These Terms & Conditions, along with the approved quotation, constitute the entire agreement between the customer and the manufacturer regarding the order, superseding any prior discussions, understandings, or representations, whether oral or written.
10. Installation
Installation charges, if applicable, will be mentioned separately in the quotation and confirmed prior to scheduling.
Key points:
- Customer must provide clear access, electricity, lighting, and a suitable working area for installation
- Installation team must be able to carry out work safely and efficiently
- Obstructions, incomplete civil work, or unavailability of basic amenities may lead to delays or rescheduling
- Site must be ready and accessible on the agreed installation date to avoid additional visits or charges
11. Warranty
Warranty, if applicable, shall be provided as specified in the quotation or warranty document, and shall be valid only for the duration and terms mentioned therein. The warranty shall generally cover manufacturing defects only and shall not cover:
- Damages arising from misuse or negligence
- Exposure to water or moisture
- Improper cleaning or maintenance
- Excessive loading
- Accidental damage
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Normal wear and tear
Any warranty claim must be raised in writing along with supporting photographs or videos clearly showing the defect, to allow proper assessment before any repair or replacement is undertaken. The warranty stands void if repairs, alterations, or modifications are carried out by any party other than the manufacturer or its authorized personnel.
12. Site Conditions
The manufacturer will not be responsible for delays or additional work caused by uneven floors, walls, restricted access, structural issues, electrical or plumbing obstructions, lift or staircase limitations, or other site conditions not disclosed before production.
Key points:
- Customers are advised to inform the manufacturer of any known site limitations at the time of order confirmation, so that installation can be planned accordingly and appropriate adjustments made in advance.
- Any additional work required to address undisclosed site conditions may be carried out at an extra cost, subject to the customer's approval, and may also affect the originally agreed installation timeline.
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the site is reasonably accessible and free from conditions that could hinder safe and efficient installation.
- Where site conditions significantly differ from what was communicated at the time of order, the manufacturer reserves the right to revise the scope of work, charges, or timeline accordingly.
13. Inspection Upon Delivery
The customer should inspect the furniture at the time of delivery or installation. Any visible damage, shortage, or discrepancy must be reported immediately with photographs or videos to enable prompt verification and resolution. Complaints raised after the delivery team has left the site, without supporting evidence, may not be considered valid, as the condition of the furniture is presumed to be acceptable once received without objection. Customers are encouraged to carefully check the quantity, finish, and overall condition of the furniture before signing off on the delivery.
14. Returns & Cancellation
Custom-made salon furniture is manufactured specifically according to the customer's requirements and is generally non-returnable, as it is designed and produced to individual specifications rather than kept as standard stock. Cancellation after production begins may result in deduction of manufacturing, material, labour, and other incurred costs, with only the balance amount, if any, refunded to the customer. Customers are advised to review and confirm all order details carefully before production begins, as cancellations at a later stage may not be entertained or may involve significant cost deductions.
15. Changes & Additional Work
Any additional work, material, modification, dismantling, civil work, electrical work, plumbing work, or site-related work not included in the quotation will be charged separately. Such requirements, if identified before or during the course of work, will be communicated to the customer along with the applicable charges before proceeding, wherever possible. Customers are advised to review the scope of work carefully at the time of order confirmation to minimize additional charges arising from unforeseen or unlisted requirements.
16. Colour & Finish Variation
Slight variations in colour, texture, wood grain, laminate, upholstery, polish, or finish may occur due to material batches, lighting, screens, and natural material characteristics. Such variations are common across the furniture industry and are not considered defects, as materials sourced at different times or from different batches may show minor natural differences. Colours and finishes viewed on digital screens, catalogues, or samples may also appear slightly different from the actual delivered product due to display settings and lighting conditions.
17. Customer Approval
The customer is responsible for carefully checking and approving designs, dimensions, colours, materials, layouts, logos, and other specifications before production. Production will be based strictly on the final approved details, and no changes will be considered once approval has been given and manufacturing has commenced. It is recommended that customers review all details thoroughly, seeking clarification wherever needed, before granting final approval to avoid errors or discrepancies in the finished product.
18. Glass, Mirror & Fragile Components
Glass, mirrors, acrylic, lights, and other fragile components must be inspected upon delivery or installation, as these items are particularly susceptible to damage during transit and handling. Damage reported after acceptance may not be covered unless otherwise agreed in writing. Customers are advised to carefully check all fragile components for cracks, chips, scratches, or other visible damage at the time of delivery, and to report any issues immediately with supporting photographs or videos before signing off on acceptance.
19. Plumbing Work
The Manufacturer shall not be responsible for any plumbing-related work, modifications, or connections required at the customer's premises. All plumbing work, including any necessary arrangements, alterations, or installations, shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer and shall be carried out at the Customer's own cost and risk.
The Manufacturer's scope is limited strictly to the supply and installation of furniture, and does not extend to any plumbing connections, fittings, or related civil work required to make fixtures such as wash basins, shampoo units, or other water-connected furniture fully operational. Customers are advised to engage a qualified plumber to carry out any such work, either prior to or in coordination with the furniture installation, to avoid delays.
20. Ownership of Goods
Where applicable, ownership of the goods shall remain with the manufacturer until all outstanding payments relating to the order have been received in full. Delivery or installation of the goods shall not, by itself, be construed as transfer of ownership if any payment remains pending. The manufacturer reserves the right to reclaim or repossess the goods in the event of non-payment, until such time as full payment is received.
21. Force Majeure
The manufacturer shall not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, strikes, transport disruptions, material shortages, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the manufacturer will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer of the delay and provide an updated timeline as soon as practicable. The affected obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, and neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations directly impacted by such circumstances.
